Same Question, Two AIs: Our Shunyi List Page Became the Second AI’s First Source

Ten days after the Shunyi list page went live, both AIs are using it to answer “which IT operations companies are in Shunyi,” and the second one lists it as its first citation. Yet for the same question about IT outsourcing pricing, one quotes our prices word for word while the other answers with finance outsourcing. Being cited by one AI does not mean the other can find you; both accept third-party coverage.

Quotes can differ several times over, and most of that gap comes down to what the contract actually says. Search Your Company Name and the Top Result Is an Old Job Posting: Your Job-Board Company Page Is Your Second Website

On the first page for district-level keywords it’s all job boards, and AI reads job boards too when it checks your company size. When we searched our own company name, the top result was a job description from a few years ago. Who Sits on Page One of Search? 6 Keywords, 42 Results, and Only 11 from the Company Website

Five district-level list pages went a week without being indexed by Toutiao, so we asked a different question: who is on page one? Across 6 keywords and 42 results, 11 came from the official site, 17 from recruitment sites, 8 from portal accounts, and 6 from short videos. Three patterns emerged: the official site only holds home turf on category keywords; questions like “which is best” and “what options exist” belong to portal accounts and videos; district-level keywords are dominated by recruitment sites. Plus five corresponding action items.

When AI Asks Whether You’re Reliable, It Reads Business Filings, Not Your Website

Ask an AI “is this company trustworthy?” and it first checks nine fields on the business registry plus seven legal risk items — while “300+ clients” on your website gets flagged as “self-reported, no third-party audit.” All three of the concerns it raised about us (employee social insurance headcount, administrative penalties, company size) came from business registries and recruitment platforms. Of the five things worth doing, four have nothing to do with your website: file your annual report truthfully, fix the registered address first, claim your company listing, and add explanations for any abnormal items. The website only needs one document that matches the registry word for word.

Searching Your Own Company Name Returns a Comedian in the Top Four: What to Do When Your Company Name Collides

On Toutiao Search, searching “Siwenlide” returns the comedian Siwen in the top four results — we rank fifth. When a company name collides with a celebrity, a place name, or a common word, search engines interpret it the way most people mean it. This article gives you a self-check list and five actions ranked by how quickly they take effect: standardize on “short name + industry term”, put the industry term in your titles, fill in every alias in your structured data, rename on third-party platforms, and accept that the bare short name may be unrecoverable.

When AI Answers “How Much Does IT Outsourcing Cost,” Whose Prices Is It Copying? Ours Got Quoted Verbatim

A fixed-prompt review found: when asked “how much does IT outsourcing cost,” AI copied the tiers from our June pricing article word for word into its table; competitors who publish no prices got a lower number invented for them as a “market rate estimate.” Why openly listed prices get cited the most, how to write when you fear haggling, and a Shunyi list page that showed results the same day.

This article covers the five questions to ask when a factory looks for IT outsourcing, and what we specifically do in Shunyi’s industrial parks.
