Guangzhou Enterprise Network Equipment Package | Siwenlide, 14 Years, 1000+ Clients

Introduction · A Real Customer Story from Guangzhou

In the fourth quarter of last year, we received a call from an automotive parts manufacturer in Huadu, Guangzhou. The factory employs around 230 people, its production lines run an MES system, and the office had just moved into a new plant — where the network had been “thrown together” by the renovation crew. One home router was serving 30 devices, the warehouse barcode scanners dropped offline constantly, and production data took three minutes to reach ERP. The customer had already shopped around, and the quotes came back like this: firewall + core switch + AP coverage + installation would require nearly RMB 400,000 up front, along with three separate contracts to sign — each equipment vendor handling only its own piece, and everyone passing the buck when problems arose.

The solution we proposed was our Enterprise Network Equipment Package subscription service: a three-year contract term, equipment provided free of charge, billed monthly. By day 18 on site, company-wide WiFi 6 coverage was complete, the core switch was running dual-unit hot standby, and the firewall enforced policy isolation — physically segmenting the office network from the industrial control network. The customer’s feedback today: “The scanners have never run this smoothly, and I basically don’t have to worry about IT operations anymore.” The monthly fee is even lower than the amortized cost of the one-time investment he had originally planned.

This is not an isolated case. Over the past two years, Siwenlide has delivered network equipment packages to 14 Guangzhou enterprises, with customers across Tianhe, Huangpu, Huadu, and Panyu. This article presents in full the projects we have completed in Guangzhou, the pitfalls we have hit, and the solutions we have validated.

Why Guangzhou Enterprises Choose Siwenlide’s Enterprise Network Equipment Package

After 14 years in enterprise IT operations in Beijing, we have seen this scenario far too many times: a company finally gets an IT budget approved, only to find that the network project has to be split across four or five vendors — the equipment vendor only racks the gear, the integrator only runs cabling, the security vendor only handles policy, and when something breaks, every one of them says “not my problem.” Plenty of contracts get signed, yet operations fall into a vacuum. We launched our “network package subscription” product in 2019 precisely to resolve this fundamental conflict: one contract, everything handled, equipment included at no cost, paid monthly.

  1. Free equipment — upfront costs become ongoing costs. Firewalls, core switches, access switches, WiFi 6 APs — all provided by Siwenlide and maintained free of charge for the contract term. Under the traditional procurement model, a 50-person company faces initial outlays of RMB 80,000–150,000; with a package subscription, that sum becomes a fixed monthly expense, sharply reducing financial pressure.
  2. A single point of accountability, fast response. When something goes wrong, the customer makes one call to 400-686-2011. We determine ourselves whether the issue lies in the network layer, the application layer, or a security policy — remote diagnosis within 30 minutes, on-site arrival within 4 hours (urban Guangzhou). No passing the buck, no finger-pointing.
  3. Beijing expertise, delivered in Guangzhou. Siwenlide’s engineering team averages more than 8 years of industry experience. Our headquarters is in Beijing’s Airport Economic Core Zone, and we maintain a resident delivery team in South China. We have project delivery records in Tianhe, Huangpu, Huadu, and Panyu alike, so localized service here never means “remote control.”

What We Have Done in Guangzhou

Both cases below have been anonymized, but the data is 100% real. We chose them because they represent the two most typical categories of enterprise in Guangzhou: discrete manufacturing and professional services — the two types of customer whose network requirements differ most, yet whose pain points are strikingly similar.

Case 1: An internet technology company in Tianhe District, about 120 employees
Background: Founded in 2019, primarily engaged in SaaS platform development and operations, with technical staff accounting for over 60% of the team. The pain point was that the R&D and office network segments were mixed together, code servers frequently had their bandwidth poached, and the CI/CD pipeline stalled intermittently.
Delivered: Application-layer identification on the firewall (QoS policies prioritizing GitLab traffic), VLAN isolation on the core switch, 8 WiFi 6 APs deployed in office areas, and separate SSIDs for meeting rooms plus guest isolation.
Results: In the first month of operation, R&D bandwidth utilization dropped from 75% to 28%, and average CI/CD task time fell by about 40%. All equipment was provided free of charge, and the customer’s average monthly spend over the three-year contract term comes to about 60% of the amortized cost of a one-time purchase.
Case 2: A precision equipment manufacturing plant in Huangpu District, about 280 employees, including factory floor staff
Background: The plant runs three systems — ERP, MES, and WMS. MES requires gap-free AP coverage on the factory floor and roaming handover latency under 50 ms; otherwise the scanning stations lose their connection. The customer’s previous workshop WiFi had been set up haphazardly three years earlier, with severe signal interference — workers joked that “scanning in the corner of the workshop is a matter of luck.”
Delivered: 12 industrial-grade APs deployed on the factory floor with an interference-resistant design and fast roaming support; industrial control security policies enabled on the firewall, physically isolating the office network from the industrial control network; dual-unit hot standby on the core switch with automatic link failover in under 200 ms.
Results: Scanning station disconnections dropped from an average of 17 per day to zero, and plant-wide network availability reached over 99.5%. In the words of the customer’s IT manager: “After three years, this is the first time I’ve dared to say at a production meeting that the network is fine.”

What the Enterprise Network Equipment Package Includes

Siwenlide’s network package is not simply “selling equipment in a bundle” — what we deliver is a complete network operations service. The list below covers the standard configuration items, each backed by an explicit SLA commitment:

  1. Enterprise-grade firewall (with UTM features) — Cisco, Huawei, or H3C mainstream series, with intrusion detection, antivirus, and VPN access; policies customized as needed; free hardware replacement during the contract term.
  2. Core/aggregation switches — Layer 2/Layer 3 managed switches supporting VLAN, STP, and stacking, sized for the traffic demands of 50–500 person enterprises.
  3. Access switches + WiFi 6 APs — Indoor APs support MU-MIMO; industrial-grade APs are available for factory floors; seamless roaming supported; coverage designs include CAD site plans.
  4. Network architecture design and installation — Siwenlide provides complete network topology design, low-voltage cabling (Category 6 or above), and equipment racking and commissioning — ready to use on delivery.
  5. IT Operations Outsourcing (optional add-on) — If your company already has IT staff but not enough of them, you can add desktop support and server operations, all backed by Siwenlide as a single point of responsibility. See our service consultation page for details.
  6. 7×24 network monitoring and emergency response — Cloud-based monitoring platform with real-time alerts for link outages, offline APs, and policy violations; response times are written into the contract.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: Our company is in Guangzhou while Siwenlide is headquartered in Beijing — can you get on site quickly if something goes wrong?

Yes. Siwenlide has resident engineers stationed in the Tianhe and Huangpu districts of Guangzhou, and we can be on site within 4 hours in non-remote areas. For remote diagnostics we respond within 30 minutes, and most network issues can be resolved remotely — there is often no need to wait for an engineer to arrive.

Q2: The equipment is provided free of charge — who owns it? What happens when the contract expires?

During the contract term, Siwenlide retains ownership of the equipment while the customer holds the right of use. When the contract expires, the customer may choose to: (1) purchase the equipment at its market residual value; (2) renew the contract and continue using it; or (3) have Siwenlide collect the equipment and issue a data erasure certificate. All three options are decided by the customer; we do not impose any binding terms.

Q3: We already have some network equipment — can we still join the all-inclusive package service?

Yes. In partial onboarding scenarios, as long as the customer’s existing equipment meets performance requirements, Siwenlide can bring it under operations and maintenance management within the all-inclusive framework, with unified monitoring and policies. However, if the existing equipment is too old (typically over 5 years old or with discontinued spare parts), we will recommend replacement. The reason is simple: aging equipment that fails frequently actually increases O&M costs, which defeats the purpose of the all-inclusive service.

Q4: How much can we actually save with the all-inclusive service compared with buying equipment separately and then finding an O&M provider?

Take a 100-person company as an example: under the traditional procurement model, firewall + switches + APs + installation + three years of maintenance requires an initial investment of about RMB 120,000–180,000, with annual maintenance costs thereafter running about 15%–20% of that initial amount. Under the all-inclusive subscription model, for the same three-year contract, the average monthly cost is RMB 12,000, for a total spend of about RMB 432,000. The totals look similar, but the advantages of the all-inclusive package are: spreading costs evenly to free up cash flow, equipment replaced with new units at any time at no extra cost, and a single phone call when problems arise — no need to separately engage a systems integrator. On balance, most customers report it is ‘far more cost-effective than expected’.
