Why Shanghai Enterprises Choose Siwenlide Enterprise Network Equipment Package
Shanghai’s networking needs have their own characteristics. Intelligent equipment companies in Lingang need millisecond-level internal connectivity; trading firms in Hongqiao cannot tolerate video conferencing lag; and tech companies in Zhangjiang enforce strict endpoint access control. In these scenarios, buying a single firewall solves nothing — what is needed is overall architecture design and long-term operations capability. Siwenlide started in Beijing in 2011 and opened a Shanghai branch in 2018, serving more than 60 enterprises in East China. Our core advantage is that a single contract can cover the firewall, routing, switching, and APs, with ongoing operations included as well.- Zero hardware cost: During the contract term, firewalls, routers, core switches, and wireless APs are all provided free of charge, so enterprises do not have to spend hundreds of thousands up front on equipment.
- Fast local response: A local Shanghai engineering team arrives within 30 minutes in core urban areas and within 1 hour in non-core areas, with coverage at night and on holidays as well.
- Transparent, controllable costs: A monthly subscription with tiered pricing by headcount turns the IT budget from capital expenditure into operating expenditure, greatly easing financial pressure.
Our logic is simple: we keep the complex part to ourselves and give customers a simple experience. What an enterprise needs is not a firewall, but a work environment that runs reliably and does not break down.
What We Have Done in Shanghai
An auto parts manufacturer in Songjiang with annual revenue of RMB 300 million previously operated on a “buy the equipment outright + renew the warranty each year” model. The problem was that the firewall was under warranty, but the switch had long been out of warranty, the vendor had discontinued it, and spare parts were nowhere to be found. After we stepped in, we redesigned the network architecture, changing the single core to dual-core redundancy and expanding wireless coverage from 3 APs to 11, achieving complete coverage in the office area. The package service included equipment upgrades and four years of operations, yet the annual cost was actually 18% lower than before. The cutover was carried out over a weekend, with zero production downtime. An education technology company in Yangpu found that its network could not keep up during a period of rapid growth. Staff surged from 50 to 120, the existing network crashed frequently, and video conferences were often cut off. After taking over, we redesigned a layered architecture, used VLANs to isolate office traffic from R&D traffic, and upgraded to enterprise-grade WiFi 6 equipment with 7×24 monitoring. Over two years there have been zero major failures, a customer satisfaction score of 98.3%, and network availability above 99.5%. Siwenlide’s package is not a simple bundle but a delivery customized to enterprise size and scenario. On the hardware side, it includes next-generation firewalls with IPS, antivirus, URL filtering, and other security functions; three-layer core switches supporting 10-gigabit uplinks; access switches with gigabit or 10-gigabit uplinks, where PoE models support IP phones and cameras; and wireless APs deployed by workstation count with WiFi 6 roaming, planned separately for offices, meeting rooms, and warehouses. On the service side, it includes an operations subscription with 7×24 remote monitoring and on-site support, quarterly inspections, and tiered fault response — on site within 2 hours for critical faults, 4 hours for high priority, and within one business day for normal priority. Many customers ask me: the equipment is free, so will the service fee rise year after year? Our contract states in black and white that it will not increase for three years, and any adjustment beyond three years will not exceed 5%. That commitment is written into the agreement, not just said out loud.

Frequently Asked Questions
- We are an SME with fewer than 50 people — is the package service worthwhile?
Yes. If a 50-person company buys a firewall, router, switch, and APs separately, equipment costs would conservatively be RMB 80,000–120,000, not counting ongoing maintenance. With the package model, the monthly fee is a few thousand yuan, the equipment costs nothing, and when something goes wrong there is only one contact to call — a completely different level of peace of mind. - Our factory has production lines and a warehouse, a fairly unusual environment — can you handle it?
Yes. Factories and warehouses have special requirements — for example, industrial-grade APs need dust and water resistance, and electromagnetic interference may need to be considered near production lines — and we customize the plan based on on-site conditions. Pricing will be higher than for a standard office scenario, but far less of a headache than figuring it out on your own. - Is service limited to Shanghai? What if we have branch offices elsewhere?
We have a resident engineering team in Shanghai, covering the entire municipality. If your company has branch offices in Hangzhou, Suzhou, Nanjing or other cities, we can serve them through our nationwide service network, with pricing quoted on a per-project basis. Clients who need it can view the details of our Network Equipment Package. - Do contracts start with a one-year term? What if we want to exit mid-term?
Standard contracts run for two years, which gives both sides enough time to settle in. Mid-term exits are extremely rare — after all, we supply the equipment and we handle the operations, so clients have no reason to switch providers. If an adjustment is genuinely needed, we can work it out with 60 days’ written notice.
