Below are the questions customers ask most often before signing an IT Operations Outsourcing / Network Equipment Package / Low-Voltage & Cabling Projects contract. Can’t find your answer? Call 400-686-2011 or contact us.

Contracts and Costs

1. Roughly how much does IT Operations Outsourcing in Beijing cost per year?

Pricing is based on company size. For 50–100 employees it is roughly RMB 50,000–120,000/year; for 100–300 employees, RMB 150,000–300,000/year; for 1,000+ employees an assessment is required. Running an in-house IT team typically costs RMB 300,000–800,000 per year in total, and our solution saves 50–70% of that.

2. How long is the contract term usually?

One to three years as standard, paid annually. For a first engagement we recommend a one-year term; renew after a satisfactory year and you receive an exclusive discount.

3. What if we want to change providers mid-term?

Our contracts set out a clear exit mechanism: 30 days’ written notice, with equipment either bought back at its depreciated value or collected by us. We believe in keeping clients through service quality, not by locking them into a contract.

4. Is your service suitable for small companies (under 30 people)?

For companies with fewer than 30 people we usually recommend an on-demand, lightweight plan. The most cost-effective threshold is 50 employees or more.

Service Response

5. How fast do you respond?

We generally respond within 15 minutes in the WeChat service group and begin remote intervention within 30 minutes. On-site visits within Beijing arrive in under 2 hours, and cross-city visits to Tianjin within half a day. For major incidents (such as a full network outage), our on-duty engineer is paged by phone immediately.

6. Is there a limit on the number of support requests?

There is no limit during the contract term. Anything that can be resolved remotely is handled remotely, and on-site visits are free when needed — you will not be charged more for calling us often.

7. Is anyone on duty on weekends and public holidays?

We provide 7 days × 14 hours of coverage (8 a.m. to 10 p.m., weekends included). An emergency line is also available for major incidents late at night, though overtime response adds a modest additional cost.

Equipment and Contracts

8. Is the equipment really free during the contract term?

Yes. All network equipment during the contract term (firewalls, routers, switches, enterprise-grade APs) is provided free of charge and replaced free of charge if it fails. See the detailed list in our Network Equipment Package service.

9. Who owns the equipment when the contract ends?

If you renew, you continue using the equipment. If you do not renew at expiry, you may buy it back at its depreciated value or we will collect it.

10. Which brands do you use?

For firewalls and routers we primarily recommend MikroTik (CCR/RB series) and Huawei enterprise-grade models. Switches are mainly Huawei S series. APs are selected according to the on-site environment, with specialised industrial APs for industrial settings.

Security and Compliance

11. What certifications and qualifications do you hold?

Dual certification: ISO 9001 Quality Management System (registration no. 03826Q04830R001) + ISO 20000 IT Service Management System (registration no. 03826IT00184R001), valid until September 2029; 21 software copyright registrations; and engineers holding technical certifications such as MikroTik MTCTCE and Huawei HCIE. The company also holds two registered trademarks: ”Siwenlide” and ”Yuxinan”.

12. How do you keep encrypted interconnection secure for companies with multiple branches?

Our in-house sTrust Zero Trust solution uses encrypted tunnelling, keeping data transfers between headquarters and branches end-to-end encrypted throughout and eliminating the disconnection problems of traditional VPNs.

13. Can you provide MLPS 2.0 (China’s Multi-Level Protection Scheme) compliance guidance?

Yes. We have the consulting capability to support clients in meeting the basic Level 2 MLPS requirements (firewall policies, log auditing, security zone segmentation, etc.). Level 3 MLPS requires an assessment of the specific scope.

Implementation and Delivery

14. How long from signing the contract to going live?

The standard process takes 2–3 weeks: site survey (1–2 days) → solution design (3–5 days) → contract signing → implementation (1–3 weeks) → business cutover. Urgent projects can be compressed to 10 business days.

15. How much downtime is required?

We generally schedule cutover of core business systems for weekends or non-working hours, and usually keep a single downtime window to within 2–4 hours. If the existing network is fully accessible, the new network can be deployed in parallel first and then switched over, giving you zero downtime.

16. How long does it take to network branch offices?

About 1–3 days of on-site deployment per branch, and configurations pushed remotely can take effect the same day. With the sTrust Zero Trust Security solution, once headquarters is deployed, extending to branches is very fast.

Industry Fit

17. Which industries have you served?

Manufacturing (see our 150-employee manufacturing case study), R&D and technology (see our 80-employee R&D case study), chain retail, law and accounting firms, education and training, healthcare, foreign-invested enterprises and non-profit organisations, among others. More than 1,000 enterprise clients in total.

18. How does wireless coverage in a workshop or factory differ from an office network?

Workshops involve heavy metal shielding and challenging dust and temperature conditions, which require industrial-grade APs, careful channel planning and denser deployment. Commercial APs are sufficient for an office network. We select equipment based on an actual on-site survey.

19. Can you take over our existing IT infrastructure?

Yes. We begin with an IT audit to assess your existing architecture, documentation and assets, then present two options for you to choose from: ”as-is takeover” and ”optimised upgrade”.

20. What if we only need desktop support?

You can sign a standalone desktop operations contract (day-to-day support for employee computers, printing and peripherals), priced per seat. In the long run, however, integrated network + desktop operations costs less overall.
